When the overhead door rolls up, you are like walking into a private country house. The hostess, Miss Kuo, whose black hair is matched with a plain shirt and jeans, delivering an artist’s casualness. Island Villa renders the image of its hostess, which is reserved but with good taste and contentment.
The lobby with a high ceiling of fair-faced concrete welcomes your arrival, as the glistening lights of waves and green shadows are framed by the french windows with surround sound system playing an idle melody. On the long wood table are refreshments prepared by Miss Kuo for you. Over the rich and aromatic coffee, the tender flavor of the seasonal fruits and pastries just warms up your hearts. Sitting on the leather sofa, you may browse through some magazines, while one of your besties appreciates a piece of artwork displayed on the gray wall and the others step out for fresh air on the grassland. Time flies quietly in this tranquil space as the light changes, your mind and pace of life just slow down, the high-speed switch of your body in sync with the urban dynamics is turned off and the relaxing holiday mode is on.
Three rooms and one exclusive night with delectable seafood
Island provides exclusive private lodging which can take up to 14 guests. There are three rooms in a succinct style on the second and third floor, all equipped with queen-size beds for comfy sleeping space, creating warm memories of your gathering here.
In “Island VIP Double Room” on the second floor, dark colors set the calming tone as the large french windows extend the spacious feel of the room. Look into the fields outside and soak your body into the white round bathtub by the window, the stress seems to be relieved immediately. The lounge chairs on the wooden pallet balcony also allow you to bathe in the sunlight or moonlight and just feel the leisure of time passing by. Located on the third floor, the two other rooms offer a gorgeous view of Lanyang River and Kueishan Island when the weather is agreeable. The white “Water Cube Double Room” is accompanied by the deciduous cypress trees. The round mirrors on the wall are like transparent droplets decorating your travel memory. “City of Sky Quad Room” has a colorful atmosphere, as the pendant lights in different body colors along with the blue wall bring a cheerful mood to the space.
Before the night falls, everyone gathers in the living room and sit on the cosy long sofa. You drop the ceiling projector screen to watch a movie while looking forward to the palatable dinner reserved with extra charge. The on-site grilled feast is exclusive to the guests of the Villa, which is an excellent deal that must not be missed! A bunch of fresh-caught seafood is served in accordance with different seasons, from skipping lobsters and sweet and rich sea urchins, to chewy large neritic squids and flavorful raw oysters, all prepared by the professional chef. Let the taste of the ocean’s treasures bounce on the tip of your tongue and just enjoy the exclusive feast of the night!

Along the south Lanyang River cycling route, you’d be accompanied by the scenic river and have a cheerful time of LOHAS.
