A Sheer Heaven of Cats and a Sunlight-Scattered Hall
The white pebbledash wall paired with shale and black framed windows exhibits the taste and quality of Doris Home B&B. Behind the glass door, the semi-outdoor stairs against French windows lead the daylight into this cozy and relaxing space. However, the biggest surprise is the pet-friendly design! You notice a lazy cat hiding in the wooden attic overhead. Another kitty with beautiful fur comes near you, rubbing against your leg. Your sight follows the playful kittens running and bouncing along the skywalk by the wall. Portraits of cats and a variety of cat toys are also a part of this visual flow, summing up the spirit of cats in this space of simplicity.
A man serves you a glass of water with a cat picture on it and greets you kindly. He is Greg, the host who used to work in an advertising company in Taipei and is totally a cat person! Every cat in this house is a friend of his. Some are feral cats, and some are fostered for Greg’s friends. Considering that many keepers travel with their pets without having proper spaces to stay, Greg created Doris Home B&B which was named after his first cat in memory of the lovely companionship. On the other hand, he also provides those who don’t have pets an opportunity to interact closely with cats. The considerate, aesthetically pleasing space is equipped with all the cat essentials including a scratch-resistant sofa, safe cat shelves, kitty litter, and more. With no extra ornaments or affectations attached, Doris Home B&B provides an easygoing and carefree experience just like the connection between cats and human beings.

Five Cat-Themed Rooms and a Floor Reserved Exclusively for You and Your Pets
Stepping on the open-riser staircase which corresponds to the wood grid panels of the ceiling, you walk upward with light and shadow falling upon you. From the second floor to the fourth floor, there are five rooms featuring cats in different ways. Those on the second floor exclusively belong to pets and their keepers. In every room hide gashapon figures, cushions and clocks shaped like cats or with pictures of cats on them. Searching carefully, you will find that these cat accessories are playing hide and seek with you!
The Doris Double Room is one of the pet-friendly rooms. You can see the nostalgic scene of the old Japanese-style dormitory in the mountains and the lush yard from the raised platform by the window functioning as a cat shelf. The wall is made of scratch-resistant laminated boards, which creates an uplifting dreamland for you and your beloved pets. The Special Room for Doris is especially recommended to travelers visiting with their cats. A small play tower and a scratching pillar are prepared. The Bubble Double Room is the first choice for travelers who like a hot bath. You can enjoy the hot bath in the bathtub by the private balcony. Under the shining stars, you listen to the murmur of the mountains and occasionally see monkeys play and jump in the wax apple or longan trees by the room. Staying in the Kitten Double Room, you can have a delicate and heartwarming holiday. Or you can choose the Catmily Family Room, where two large, white beds spread across the wooden floor, and the spaciousness and color combinations in the room produce a warm aura suitable for a family gathering.
Hey, it is bedtime. Here is a kind reminder, while closing the door, to check if there are any kittens trying to sneak into your blankets and make footprints in your dreams.

A Casual Breakfast Surrounded by Sunshine and Dear Cats
In the morning, holding your lovely pet, you walk downstairs at ease. Once released from your arms, your cat runs freely throughout the high-ceilinged space. When the aroma of the breakfast comes to you from the open-air kitchen island by the hall, you first open a can of cat food for your dearie before savoring the delicious breakfast on the wooden plate. The French toast flavored with black tea powder has an appealing aroma, and sits beside fruit and vegetables, potato salad and two pieces of lean ham. Then you sip the coffee in the porcelain cup with Putitto Cat. The lovely taste and fun composition brighten your mood.
Leaning on the bar by the French windows under the morning sun, you flip through magazines and books, enjoying the fine life surrounded by beloved cats and being taken care of by the host and housekeeper.
Squatting down in the garden behind the house, you caress the head of a languid cat under the azure skies. “Meow--” the cutie narrows one eye, grooming a cheek with a small, white-socked paw. You cannot help but smile at this scene, and your spirits feel immediately lifted. All the cats you have met around this B&B seem to bid you goodbye, hoping to see you next time.
