When the wood gate is pushed open, the heat outdoors fades away with the lively electropop beats getting louder. The furniture and guest-room essentials are selected in person by the host Nick. “As for the essentials, I had tried almost ten toothbrushes in different textures and over twenty kinds of bath products. AVEDA finally became the chosen one because it is a brand doing good to both the environment and body,” Nick said. To make travelers experience the most comfortable stay, Nick spent at least double time preparing Stable Hotel, insisting on building a hotel with fine taste in Tainan.

Six elaborately designed rooms, the new experience of staying in Tainan

In this four-story building are six rooms. Distinct and creative ideas can first be seen on the wall of the staircase and in the rooms. Every room is a showroom of designers with diverse subjects, but the host’s selected taste for everydayness is consistent and lasting. The second-floor wall is decorated with several words: Share Tainan A Brilliant Life Experience. The initial letter of each word makes up the name of Stable Hotel, a clever way to accentuate the central idea of this boutique-like hotel.

In Stable Hotel, every room with different names carries various surprise. For example, “Ballerina” is an elegant room with the elements of classical French interior. Girls can stand on tiptoes spinning in their dreams with the reflection shown on the full-length mirror. In “Wabisabi,” light wood grain furniture and grey color as the primary color tone speak for the everyday aesthetics and zen. In “Fantasy,” the rainbow bricks on the ceiling offer the colorful imagination one can have during a night stay. In “Evolve,” the geometric paintings hung on the bright white brick wall emphasize the designer’s taste. Among them, the most surprising one must be “Pantone,” whose uniqueness is foretold by the outer wall of the room. In a sophisticated and simplistic style, “Pantone” looks like a photo studio; with a few patterns of saturated color-blocking, a splendid journey is sharply made.
